Keeping Warm - Yellowstone NP

Yellowstone is a treasured place having been declared the USA's first national park in 1872. Yellowstone has the world's highest concentration of geysers and thermal features. This lone bison is foraging next to a steam fumarole near the Upper Geyser basin. During the long, cold and snowy winters bison sometimes wander too close to the thermal areas at the risk of their lives.
