The subtropical wetlands of Everglades National Park is a natural breeding ground for wading birds of all kinds. These animals have long legs and spend lots of time is shallow water waiting to catch a meal with their long beaks. I spotted this wood stork as he was gracefully flying overhead near Paurotis Pond.
