Lewis River flats - Yellowstone NP

The Lewis River is found in the southern reaches of Yellowstone where it flows from Lewis Lake through a deep canyon, over several falls and finally feeds the Snake River just before emerging from the park boundary. This part of the river located immediately adjacent to one of the falls forms a scenic foreground against the tightly packed pine forests.
